Ph.D. Student in Biomedical Informatics
McWilliams School of Biomedical Informatics
UTHealth Houston
I am a Ph.D. student in Biomedical Informatics at UTHealth Houston, advised by Dr. Kirk Roberts. My research interests lie at the intersection of clinical natural language processing, large language models, and trustworthy AI, with a particular focus on reliable question answering over electronic health records.
Previously, I conducted research at Boston Children's Hospital and Columbia University, focusing on large language models for healthcare, rare disease diagnosis, and genetic testing workflows. I hold an M.A. in Statistics from Columbia University.
Outside of research, I enjoy playing basketball and exploring new restaurants and cuisines.
